Venice the Magical Island
Ciao my name is Emma and I want to tell you how I love Venice the first time I went I was 5 years old and went on a day trip with my grandparents unfortunately it rained and I spent the whole day in a yellow Kagool, but I still have my toy camera with photos inside it that I bought, the next time I went was when I was about 15, then every year until I was 18 we always stayed in Lido de Jesalo and I loved every minuet of my holidays there the sun bathing the night life the shops and of course the day trips to Venice itself and the trips down the Grand canal on a Gondola, last year at the age of 28 my parents and my self went back to Venice for the day flying from Blackpool England and took my new Husband who had never been it was just like been a child again showing him all the sights and going on a boat ride down the Grand canal, unfortunately we did not have time to take him on a Gondola ride but I did take him round the Doges Palace and over the Bridge of Sighs he was so enthralled by Venice that he still tells people how beautiful and breathtaking Venice is, before we went everyone (who have never been to Venice) kept telling him how bad it smelt but there was no smell. I found the last time I went as it was in November and not the summer, how different Venice was to what I remember as a child. It was even better and walking on the duck boards was so unusual but at the same time quite romantic with my husband hand in hand, If anyone reading this is hoping to go the Venice I would highly recommend it as I have nothing but happy memories that will stay with me for the rest of my life, to sail over to Venice from the airport in November in all the mist and to see Venice appear as if out of nowhere is magical.
