Just returned from another trip to Rome and found those 2 restaurants/trattoria that had the best food, great staff, friendly and entertaining. Don't miss it. It is small but reasonably priced and the food is the best. The Trattoria "MELO" @ Piazza Venezia VIA Magnanapoli, 6 - 00187 Roma Tel 06.6796366 Another neat place was "La tavernetta Del Pescatore" Via Sistina 147 Tel 06/4741939 The owner looks as he could be Pavoratti's brother.
